Effective action... Working a strategy
Thoughtful consideration... keeping an open mind while being discerning about actions taken.
Before moving forward with any task or action ask yourself:
"Will this bring me closer to recovering my dog?"
"Is this action effective for my dog's situation?"
Doing a hodge podge of activities and everything you read on the Internet, burns out many pet owners and discourages them so they do not want to continue the search for their dog.
It is easy to find yourself running off on a tangent before you know it. Stop and ask yourself before beginning any activity, "Will this task be effective in bringing me closer to recovering my dog?" Remember that just because a technique is on the Internet does not mean it is effective. Old wives tales and unproven theories about finding a missing pet are rampant on the Internet. Do not be drawn in by claims of effectiveness unless the circumstances reflect the behavior and situation for your missing dog.
Before pursuing any new activity look at the success and results achieved with that technique. Then compare the technique and methods to the circumstances surrounding your lost dog's behavior, missing event and environment.
